U5-U8 Carnival Tomorrow
Friday, 22 August 2014
Dear Parents
Don’t let the wet weather dishearten you about tomorrows gala end of season event for our under 5s – 8s. Soccer is a sport played in the rain (subject to field conditions and player safety), and most kids usually love the chance to play in the rain (and the mud), but you may have to get the napisan out. You may also like to bring with you spare clothes and towels.
We may end up running a modified program, however this won’t be determined until the morning (weather forecast is for scattered showers tomorrow). To prepare for a modified program could you please ensure you bring your child’s joggers on the day as some games may be moved to the undercover courts as no soccer boots are allowed on this surface.
We ask for parents to assist us on the day by being prepared to be flexible and understanding under challenging weather conditions.
Regardless of the weather, field conditions and maybe a modified program, we will still be having the sausage sizzle and presentation of trophies to ensure our little stars walk away with a shiny trophy in their hands and a smile on their faces.
See you all tomorrow!
