NEW SOUTH EAST ZONE INFORMATION

Thursday, 8 September 2011

QCSA Council of Clubs voted earlier this year to reduce the number of Zones that compete at the State Titles across the June Long Weekend, but increase the Zone team representation to two teams per age group.

This resulted in most clubs from the former South Zone, East Zone and Central Zone joining together to form the new SouthEast Zone.

The attached flyer has information about the new zone including the date and times for our trials for the 2012 State Titles. You will notice that the trials to choose the squads are being held on 22 October 2011. The plan is to start early in forming squads who will train once a month (excluding December) and then the final teams will be chosen in March 2012.

The LUCSC Management Team would strongly encourage all eligible players (Under 10 to Senior Men in 2012) to consider attending the trials. Players who have competed previously will testify, it is a great opportunity to meet players from other clubs and play soccer at a different level.

If you have never tried out before, please don't think that you aren't good enough because you just never know until you have a go!

See you there.
