Below is information from QCSA regarding preliminary representative training for State Team selection. If you are interested in trialling for State Team Selection at the State Titles this year you are encouraged to attend the training sessions detailed below.

QCSA State Senior Men & U18 Men Trial Info
Following the success of the QCSA State Teams that contested the National Titles in Newcastle in 2010 a decision has been made to broaden the opportunity for players desirous of gaining selection in the 2011 Senior Menís and the U/18 Menís Representative Teams.
In that regard a process has been implemented , whereby on alternate Monday evenings commencing on Monday the 28th March 2011 at Brittain Park, Coopers Plains, players who would like to be considered for selection in 2011 Senior Menís and U/18 Menís Representative Teams are invited to attend Representative Team training sessions. [Please note, it is most important that you have nominated beforehand for your Zone team - Baptist, East, North, South, Sunshine Coast or West Zone teams - in order that you are considered for State selection.]
It is intended that on alternate Monday evenings, Representative Training will be conducted at Brittain Park on one Monday and then the next Monday evening a session will be conducted on the north side of Brisbane at Roy Harvey Park at Shand Street, Stafford.
This alternate training location on the north side and south side of the City will then provide an opportunity for players from either side of the river to attend Rep Training Sessions. However, any player who may wish to attend both locations is quite welcome to do so.
This training will be treated as a precursor to the State Titles that will be held over the Queenís Birthday long weekend in June this year where State Team Squad selection will then be carried out.
This year the QCSA Senior Menís Team will be coached by Paddy Higgins and Assistant Coach Don Weerheim with Jeanette Olive being the Team Manager. The U/18 Menís Team will be coached by Rod Brozovich and the Assistant Coach is Anthony Costa with Joanne Dovey being the Team Manager.
The coaching staff will be on hand at each session to provide guidance and assistance to any player who may wish to attend these sessions with a view to improving their skills and footballing ability, in order for them to enhance their prospect of gaining State Team selection in 2011.
For inquiries please contact Paddy Higgins, Senior Menís Representative Team Coach, on 0450 785067 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or Rod Brozovich Menís U/18 Representative Team Coach on email email@example.com.
We are looking forward to seeing you there on the 28th March 2011 at Brittain Park, Coopers Plains for the first State Team Coaching session of 2011. Please bring all your gear, including shin-pads, water-bottles, etc.
